My story: Jaxson deserves a better life. Poor boy was dumped off on a street and he made his way to a store front where he slept for 10hours due to his pitiful condition and stress level. The WHOLE thing was caught on video! He is a beautiful sweet black and white mix breed. He is intelligent and easy to train because he is so eager to please. He will make a great family pet. Jaxson says, "just met me in person. You will love me! (I already love you.)" Hi, I am Jaxson. I am one good looking bulldog mix. Very strong and well put together. I was battered and bruised when my foster mama took me in. Now I live on her farm while waiting my forever home. I need a home that will understand I can be shy with strangers and still need to learn how to be a dog. I just want to play with others but not sure how to do it but I wag my tail. I am good with the farm life but I get too excited around cats so we are looking for a no-cat home for me. I need a patient loving person to give me confidence, exercise and a comfy place to nap. I am a good boy who needs a 2nd chance! My pictures dont do me justice, I am a very nice looking dog with a striking bulldog head and build. My black and white markings are very pretty. I am worth a closer look! An added plus: if I'm yours; I am already microchipped, UTD on shots, HW negative and neutered!

My story: Pumpkin is a 11-14mo old hound/pit mix that loves all people and animals. She is cute and sweet as her picture tells, but sadly this sweet girl is not ready for final adoption because she needs surgery (SEE UPDATE BELOW). She was found by her foster living in in a ditch, clearly underweight and in pain. Xrays proved she had been most likely hit by a car. She gets around ok carrying her bum leg but she will be much happier once the surgery is done. St. Francis will take care of her surgery soon. Obviously, she has many friends~ UP TO THE MINUTE UPDATE: Surgery went fine and Pumpkin is doing like a champ. Just like a new puppy and ready to go.

My story: My Owner died and I and my best friend Rocky were left at shelter. We must be adopted together! We look after each other even when we were left on our own,. WE love to sparr with a little Boston and Victorian Bulldog we fostered with. I am a runner, if given a chance, you gotta watch me at first. Set up boundaries. We love to wear t-shirts, get a bath and ride in the car. These are recent photos where we asked santa for a new family to love.

My story: Bella was abandoned along with her sister Penny. She and her sister were left for more than a week without food, water or shelter during the coldest days of the year. Once picked up by the local authorities and after a period of time they were due to be euthanized. The caring neighbor who had reported their abandonment decided to adopt them, care for them and find them forever loving homes. Due to his and his fiance's care, these sweet babies are learning basic commands and being socialized. They have all of their shots, have been spayed and are microchipped. They've been given a clean bill of health by two vets. Their foster parents say, "Despite their sad beginnings, they are very sweet towards people and crave kindness and attention." Bella is completely house trained and crate trained. Her foster mom says she loves belly rubs and acts like quite the "girly girl." She is content to lay down, relax and take in the whole world around her. Bella is just waiting for the right home--a loving, attentive forever home. My story: I am a sweet puppy, abandoned and possibly never loved til now. I managed to get myself into a backyard enclosed with a privacy fence (knew these people might be dog lovers). They posted flyers around the neighborhood, contacted local vets to see if anyone was missing their dog. I had no tag or microchip. I was scared of everything at first but am turning into a regular little puppy. Im not house broken, but learning via crate training. I have a lot of energy and love to play, run, and explore. I am a real warm dog and especially love to snuggle and lap nestle. I am not a noisy dog either. I am a cute little guy who needs someone patient to love and teach me--- as soon as possible! You?

My story: I was found in October 2009, in a neighbors yard, emaciated and could barely walk. With shots, love, and food I have turned into a healthy happy dog. I play fetch, dont mind taking baths, and would love a home that had other dogs. I am crate trained (during the day) I sleep in a dog bed on the floor of a bedroom at night, am house trained, neutered and microchipped. I know many commands (sit, lay down, out, back up, speak, catch, jump, turn around, shake) and am very eager to learn, and will do just about anything for a treat. Ofcourse I am wary of strangers, and will sometimes bark if they intimidate me, but once comfortable with the new person I am great. I protect those who care for me. I have no known health problems. How can you wait another minute to adopt me?
